Atropos was born with a specific role in mind - her Fate, so to speak. Her role would be to cut off people’s thread of life once they had spent enough time on earth. Her sisters, Lachesis - known as Winifred or Winnie in the mortal realm - and Clotho - who goes my Mary - help her by spinning the Threads of Life and determining their length. Since landing in New Olympus, she now works as a fortune teller with her sisters, preferring to use tarot cards to determine how and when people will die. It makes things seem less suspicious.
